The education at Capri Cosmetology Learning Centers is divided into two main programs with additional smaller courses that you can choose to enroll in as well. We want students to explore the side of beauty that most interests them. Check out our program options to find out which one could be perfect for you!

Hairdressing & Cosmetology

In our Hairdressing & Cosmetology program you will learn the fundamentals that could help you become a licensed cosmetologist. The program is 1,000 hours in length, and teaches students beauty techniques in hair, nails, make-up, and skin care to fully prepare them to pass the New York state licensing exam.

Don’t let your busy schedules stand in the way of you pursuing an education in beauty! This program offers both day and night classes. If you’ve been looking for a program that covers hair and other technical beauty skills with flexible hours, then this could be a great option for you!

Esthetics & Make-up

Our Esthetics & Make-Up Program is a 600-hour program where you can learn about the rapidly growing skin care industry. Learn skills ranging from facials and make-up application to waxing and aromatherapy. Students can become licensed estheticians once they complete the program and pass the New York State licensing exam.

In this program you can also become certified in make-up by the internationally acclaimed Make-Up Designory (MUD). This a great starting point for anyone who wants to focus on make-up. If you have a passion for skin care and helping others feel great about themselves, then this could be the program for you!

MUD Beauty Essentials

The 84-hour MUD Beauty Essentials Course allows students to dive quickly into the world of professional make-up artistry. Students can earn a certificate of formal training in make-up after completing this course, which can help them build a career in make-up.

Learn about facial analysis, color correction, contouring, and more! This course is a prerequisite for advanced MUD classes, so this is a great start for people who want to pursue a career in make-up.

Advanced Education and Classes

In our Advanced Education Classes, you can continue to learn skills you may need in the working world. There are a variety of classes that you can choose from. You can focus on new skills like laser hair removal and eyelash extensions or continue your cosmetology training.

We also offer Exam Prep courses for both Hairdressing & Cosmetology and Esthetics & Make-up to help you prepare to pass the New York state licensing exam.

Capri Cosmetology Learning Centers is an accredited beauty school, which means that financial aid is available for those who qualify. Students may be eligible for federal grants and loans, VA benefits, scholarships, and more. Our staff can help you navigate the financial aid process and help you find the right program for your goals!
