Esthetics & Makeup Program

The 600-hour program about esthetics & makeup at Capri Cosmetology Learning Centers was created to meet the high demand of one of the fastest growing industries in the nation: skin care. Our Esthetics & Make-Up program is designed to prepare you for the New York state board exam to become a licensed esthetician, while also providing the opportunity to be certified in makeup by the internationally acclaimed Make-Up Designory (MUD).

Our student clinic can give you the opportunity to provide relaxing facials, makeup, and other spa services to real clients – hands-on experience designed to prepare our students for their new careers.

Looking for additional training to expand your esthetics or makeup skills? Our advanced courses can make you more marketable by training you on a variety of advanced services, such as eyelash extension application or laser hair removal.

Our Esthetics & Make-Up program includes education in:

• Facials
• Waxing
• Aromatherapy
• Body Treatments
• Spa Facial Treatments
• Makeup Application (including airbrush)

Course Schedule

• Full Time (4 months) Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Part Time ( 9.5 months) Monday – Thursday 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Entrance Requirements

• Minimum Age: 17
• High School Diploma/GED/TASC or Wonderlic Basic Skills Test
