Year in and year out Capri Cosmetology Learning Centers has been fortunate to have a staff and students who are socially conscious and willing to make a difference. Whether it’s monthly fundraisers for community groups or bake sales and cut-a-thons for a local family in need our staff and students will rally around the cause!
For the second year in a row, the staff and students of Capri Cosmetology Learning Center – Nanuet Campus, happily participated in the world’s largest Christmas project! Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to needy children around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes. Since 1993, more than 100 million shoe box gifts have been delivered to children in more than 130 countries. We are proud to have contributed to that number by donating 152 boxes today!
Operation Christmas Child is a project of the international relief organization, Samaritan’s Purse. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoe boxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities. The simple gifts are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the United States.
